Last Friday, to celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of third grade, Jenny, Malaya, and I took Nicki (the doll) to the American Girl store at the Galleria. We have wanted to do this all summer. I wished my camera had been on Malaya when we walked in the door. Her eyes were HUGE - priceless.
Nicki got her hair done. Malaya chose exactly how she wanted it to look - ribbons and all!

Here is our table at lunch. It was just beautiful - all pink - with napkin rings you could keep. They each had a character trait engraved on them.

So much fun! Ashlyn can't wait to go!
Ashley loved American Girl growing up and had all the books! We went last year to the store during spring break and we were going to have lunch, but we didn't have a reservation and during spring break you don't get in without a reservation! We still hope to go back for lunch one day soon. Lots of great memories come back walking around that store. I'm glad y'all had such a great time!
