Malaya story
Malaya spent the night Sunday night. We had planned to go see Happy Feet Monday afternoon. I was so excited about having some buttered popcorn. We were running errands before leaving town and she said, "Grammy, you know what I really want to do? I want to go the Decatur library and get my own library card." Wow - movie versus reading! Well, for this six and a half year old, reading won! Yea, Malaya! What every former grade teacher loves to hear!

It is so exciting to watch little ones getting engrossed in reading. I miss those times of reading with my kids. What special times those are!
